AMU Law Graduate Taha Bin Tasneem Awarded Prestigious Chevening Scholarship to Study at the University of Cambridge

Aligarh: Taha Bin Tasneem, a BALLB graduate from the Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has been awarded the prestigious Chevening Scholarship to pursue a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of Cambridge. The Chevening Scholarship is a fully funded award administered by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), aimed at developing global leaders and change makers.

The award is one of the most competitive international scholarship programmes in the world and is granted to individuals with outstanding academic backgrounds, demonstrable leadership potential, and a strong vision for positive impact.

In addition to the Chevening Scholarship, Taha received offers for the LL.M. programme from several top UK universities, including the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), and the University of Reading. He was also offered admission to the University of Melbourne, Australia. However, with the Chevening Award, he will now pursue his studies at the University of Cambridge.
