Aligarh: Tamkeen Fatima, a second-year M.Tech. student in Computer Science and Engineering at Aligarh Muslim University’s Z.H. College of Engineering and Technology, has achieved an impressive All India Rank 2 in the UGC-NET (JRF) examination 2024, with a percentile score of 99.9933 – an accomplishment she secured in her first attempt.
Fatima graduated with a B.Tech. from AMU in 2023, earning a remarkable CPI of 9.703. She has consistently received merit scholarships since Class X, including the UP STSE, University Merit Financial Award from AMU, and the GATE scholarship.
Her academic journey is distinguished by participation in research internships at prestigious institutions like ISRO, McMaster University in Canada (through the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship), and the Fields Institute, also in Toronto (Fields Undergraduate Summer Research Programme). Fatima has further contributed to the field with a published research paper in the ACM Conference Proceedings.
