AMU Student Selected for 2025 World Bank Group Youth Summit

Aligarh: Naved Alam, a postgraduate student from the Department of Mass Communication at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has been selected as a delegate for the 2025 World Bank Group Youth Summit. The virtual event, scheduled for May 19-20, 2025, will gather youth leaders and innovators to discuss global development challenges.

He expressed pride in representing AMU on this prestigious platform, emphasising the university’s growing global presence. Relevant documents, including the confirmation email from the World Bank Group, have been attached.

Mr. Alam has proudly represented AMU at national and international platforms, serving in key roles such as Vice Chair of the UNICEF Committee at IGMUN, Cabinet Member of the AMU Students’ Union (AMUSU), and Elected Co-Chair of the UNA-USA Youth Affinity Group.

He is currently working as an ELT Pretesting Researcher at Oxford University Press and as a Research Assistant (Adjunct) to Prof. Tania at Waseda University, Japan. He has been conferred with various Youth Leadership Awards and received an International Grant to attend the Thailand Halal Conference 2024.
