AMU Student Zaina Aly Earns Name by Participating in 67th National Shooting Championship at Bhopal

Aligarh: Zaina Aly Khan, a Class XI student at the Senior Secondary School (Girls), Aligarh Muslim University made her way to the 67th National Shooting Championship, recently held in Bhopal, which further added to the prestige of her family and the university.

She earlier took part in the 50m Rifle Prone event at the 43rd North Zone Shooting Championship, which earned her qualification for the prestigious 67th National Shooting Championship, solidifying her place as one of the most promising young shooters in the country.

Despite a tough competition at the national championship, Zaina made consistent performance in the 50m Rifle Prone event, which reflected her relentless hard work, discipline and an unwavering commitment to her skill. Competing with some of the finest shooters in the northern region, she showcased remarkable accuracy and composure during the 43rd North Zone Shooting Championship, which helped her secure a spot at the national level.

Ms. Naghma Irfan, Principal, Senior Secondary School Girls, congratulated Zaina on her participation in the national event, adding that her success will provide as an impetus to other students who wish to make a successful career in sports.
