Aligarh: The Department of Electronics Engineering at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will host the sixth edition of the IEEE-sponsored International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT 2026) on February 14-15, 2026. The conference aims to bring together prominent researchers, academicians, and industry experts to explore recent developments in multimedia, signal processing, and communication technologies.
In preparation for the event, Prof. Anwar Sadat (Conference Chair), along with Dr. Saeed Ahmed and Dr. Mohd. Tausif (Conference Co-Chairs), attended a one-day training workshop at the Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET), Greater Noida. The workshop focused on organising IEEE conferences and was attended by representatives from various institutions. It aimed to provide key insights and best practices to ensure the conference meets global standards of academic excellence and professional execution.
Prof. Sadat said that IMPACT 2026 is expected to serve as a dynamic platform for fostering knowledge exchange, innovation, and collaboration in the rapidly advancing fields of electronics and communication engineering.
