Aligarh: Prof. Syed Ali Nawaz Zaidi of the Department of Law, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has been appointed as an Adjunct Professor at the Law School of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Hyderabad, for a period of one year. The appointment is extendable, subject to the approval of the competent authority.
Prof. Zaidi brings with him over two decades of teaching and research experience and has held several important academic and administrative positions at AMU, including Deputy Proctor and Advisor to International Students. He has also served as Deputy Registrar of the University and was a Visiting Professor at KAAF University College, Ghana.
An accomplished academic, Prof. Zaidi has published more than 30 research articles in reputed journals and contributed numerous chapters in edited volumes. He has authored a book on human rights and has guided several doctoral and postgraduate dissertations. His areas of expertise include Human Rights Law, International Trade Law, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
As Adjunct Professor, Prof. Zaidi will contribute to the academic and research activities of the MANUU Law School and will undertake periodic visits to the Hyderabad campus. The terms of his engagement will be governed by the university’s applicable norms and the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
