AMU’s ZHCET Hosts First-Ever Annual Project Exhibition, Highlighting Engineering Talent and Innovation

Aligarh: In a landmark event, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), hosted its first-ever Annual Project Exhibition, marking a significant chapter in its 50-year journey.
The exhibition was inaugurated by AMU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Naima Khatoon, who praised the technical innovation and creativity demonstrated by students across all engineering branches. She engaged with several student teams, commending their efforts and acknowledging the guidance of faculty members. “The projects reflect the promising future of Indian engineering and research,” she stated.
Over 30 industry leaders graced the event, including Mr. Dhanjeet Vadra (Allen & Alvin), Mr. Manish Bansal (Precision Overseas), Mr. Navneet Varshney (Nitya Creations), Ms. Reena Agarwal (Ruva Locks), Mr. Praveen Sharma (Bishen Export), Mr. Brijesh Yadav (DIC), and Mr. Mohammad Hamza (Engineering & Environmental Solution Pvt. Ltd.). They expressed deep appreciation for the quality of student work and offered insightful feedback to encourage further innovation.
The exhibition featured a competitive element, with top projects from each branch receiving awards based on innovation, practical applicability, and impactful presentation. These award-winning projects were lauded for addressing global challenges with creative engineering solutions.
AMU Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mohsin Khan, also interacted with the students, describing their work as “practical and future-oriented.” He added, “Our youth are truly the architects of tomorrow.”
Projects spanned cutting-edge fields like artificial intelligence, sustainable technologies, robotics, smart systems, and healthcare innovations, reflecting a clear commitment to solving real-world problems through science and engineering.
ZHCET Principal, Prof. Mohd Muzammil, hailed the exhibition as a testament to the innovation and talent cultivated within the college. Exhibition In-charge, Dr. Moina Athar, emphasized the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness displayed by the student participants.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a collective resolution to make the exhibition an annual tradition that celebrates engineering excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
