Andhra Pradesh BJP President Hails Muslims’ Role in Freedom Struggle

Vijaywada: Andhra Pradesh BJP president PVN Madhav highlighted the significant contributions of Muslims to India’s freedom struggle during a grand Independence Day celebration hosted by the Minority Rights Protection Committee (MHPS) at its state office in Vijayawada on August 15, 2025. Speaking at the event, Madhav emphasized the unity between Hindus and Muslims, citing the sacrifices of freedom fighters like Ashfaqulla Khan and Ram Prasad Bismil as enduring symbols of communal harmony. He underscored the importance of mutual respect for cultural practices in strengthening India’s diverse fabric.

The event, presided over by MHPS State president Mohammed Farooq Shibli, saw TDP Politburo member and Political Secretary TD Janardhan as the chief guest.
