Bengaluru, Dec. 5: Author of ‘The Art of Classical Acupuncture System’, Dr. Samiullah was awarded the ‘Knighthood’ award along with four others at the 61st World Congress of Integrative Medicines organized by Medicina Alternativa, Colombo in November. The World Congress was attended by 400 delegates across the world.
The award was in recognition of his credentials in clinical experience and practice, academic studies, academic teaching and new syllabi formation for Acupuncture. Knighthood award entitles a person to be called as ‘Sir’.
The founder of Karnataka Acupuncture Association, Dr. Samiullah also chaired one session of the World Congress and presented a paper on Motor Acupuncture Points to Treat Neuro Musculo Skeletal Disorders.
He is also a recipient of National and International Accolades: Acupuncture Ratna Award, Best South India’s Acupuncturist award from ATAMA, Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Excellence Award, Bharath Jyoti Award and The Best Humanitarian Award 2021 – The American University For Global Peace – USA.
Dr. Samiullah is also the Chairman of Federation of Acupuncture System Therapy Board (F A S T Board), Bengaluru. He has around 30 books on Acupuncture under the guidance of his professors.
