Atal Tiranga Honour Ceremony Recognises Renowned Author Rizwan Aijazi

Jaipur: The prominent nationalist organisation Salute Tiranga hosted the prestigious Atal Tiranga Honour Ceremony at NDMC Hall in Delhi to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

During this event, 30 distinguished individuals from across India were celebrated for their exceptional contributions in various fields. Among the honourees was renowned author Rizwan Aijazi from Rajasthan, who received a trophy and certificate from MP Manoj Tiwari in recognition of his outstanding service to literature and society.

Aijazi holds the distinction of being the sole recipient from Rajasthan and the only Muslim honouree at the national level. A prolific writer, Aijazi has authored numerous books spanning diverse subjects and dedicated 45 years to social service through organisations such as Lions Club, Red Cross Society, and Bharat Scouts. His endeavours also extend to the fields of education, hospitality, textiles, real estate, and book publishing.

Aijazi’s literary works include acclaimed titles such as Gandhi Kaise Bane Andhi, Gandhi Aaj Tak, Annadata Ki Maut, Zindagi Jeene Ka Andaz, Sapne Se Safalta Ki Aor, Career Ki Rah Par, Slumdog: Mere Sapnon Ka Hindustan, Khamoshi Udas Hai, and Pehli Galti Aakhri Galti. He has also republished significant works, including Satya Ke Prayog.

As Chairman of the Hillview Group, Aijazi oversees ventures such as Hillview Hotel & Resorts Chhabra, Hillview International School Chhabra, Hillview Publication Jaipur, and Rivaaj Clothing Jaipur.

In addition to his literary and business pursuits, Aijazi has served in key roles with Lions International. He has also held the position of Vice President with the Red Cross Society of India in Pali Marwar (1983–1988).

The ceremony was graced by Swami Chidanand Saraswati as the chief guest, while retired Delhi High Court Justice S.N. Dingra was also honoured at the event. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Jha, founder and national president of Salute Tiranga, warmly welcomed the attendees. The programme’s success was ensured by coordinators Sachchidanand Pokhriyal, Ravi Chikara, Dr. Monica Singh, Nandan Jha, Romi Chaudhary, Madan Mohan Paliwal, Nisha Solanki, and Vandana Soni.
