Atiya Siddiqua Highlights Islamic Perspective on Personality Development at Ayat Al Fariya Academy Event

March 19, 2024: In an enlightening online session organized by Ayat Al Fariya Islamic Academy under the banner of Al Huda Islamic School, esteemed speaker Atiya Siddiqua, Director of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind and Executive Member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, addressed a gathering on the crucial topic of “Personality Development in an Islamic Perspective.”

With mental health concerns such as depression increasingly prevalent in today’s society, the Academy initiated this program to offer guidance and solace through Islamic teachings. The online event aimed to provide attendees with valuable insights into nurturing a balanced and resilient personality grounded in the Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Atiya Siddiqua, who also serves as Chief Editor of Haadiyah e Magazine, articulated the significance of personality development through an Islamic lens. She emphasized key points from the Quran and the Sunnah, illustrating how these foundational texts offer comprehensive guidance for personal growth and well-being.

“Islamic teachings provide a holistic approach to personality development,” Siddiqua explained. “The Quran and the Hadith offer profound insights into building a character marked by integrity, compassion, and resilience.” She also highlighted the importance of individuals recognizing their skills, talents, intelligence, weaknesses, and strengths as part of their personal development journey.

The session was mentored by Dr. Ayesha Sultana, Assistant Editor of Radiance. She commended the initiative by Ayat Al Fariya Academy, noting its timely relevance in addressing the psychological challenges faced by many today.
