Nagpur, July 23: A delegation from the All India Unani Tibbi Congress (AIUTC) Maharashtra participated in a program organized by the Buldhana District Nagarik Mandal and NIMA at Jawahar Auditorium here. The event featured the esteemed presence of Union AYUSH Minister Pratap Rao Jadhav, who was warmly welcomed by the delegation under the leadership of Dr. Sheikh Muhammad Yaqub, National Secretary of AIUTC.
Dr. Yaqub expressed high hopes and expectations the Congress has from Minister Jadhav, emphasizing the importance of his visit. He mentioned that a day prior, another delegation from the Congress met with the Minister in Buldhana, where Dr. Muhammad Owais Hassan, a member of the Maharashtra branch of AIUTC, discussed with him various issues concerning Unani medicine and presented a memorandum to him. The memorandum included key demands such as the establishment of a CCRUM center in Nagpur and addressing the employment concerns of Unani doctors in government positions.
Active Nagpur member Dr. Muhammad Shafiq greeted Minister Jadhav with a memento and a bouquet on behalf of the Congress. Minister Jadhav expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the promotion and development of Unani and Ayurveda practices.
