Mangaluru: The need for cyber security has never been greater than it is now, given our increased reliance on technology.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Beary’s Institute of Technology Polytechnic organised a one-day workshop titled “The Future and Importance of AI in Mechanical Engineering” here yesterday.
The sessions were led by Abdulla Basith P, Certified Ethical Hacker from Offenso Hackers Academy, and Mohammed Hashim, a research scholar specialising in Virtual Reality and Metaverse at Wafy College.
Offenso Hackers Academy focus on cyber security training focused on producing cyber security professionals with a wide range of abilities to counter threats from the internet and cloud to a business. It is moulding young minds through thorough operation-based learning initiatives which help them upskill their abilities and to face the cyber world with confidence.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Prof. Prithviraj M, Director of BIT Polytechnic, setting the tone for the session. Dr. S.I. Manzur Basha, Principal of BIT Engineering College, inaugurated the workshop, highlighting the significance of practical exposure to emerging technologies.
The workshop explored a wide range of topics, including AI tools for web development, cyber security applications, AI-powered startups, AI in content creation and task automation, robotics and automation, block chain technology, virtual reality and metaverse integration and emerging AI technologies
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mohammed Anas K, who appreciated the efforts of the speakers, organisers, and participants.
