BJP Counts Every Breath

− Khan Tahir

When a person cannot achieve anything, they criticize their opponents. When a person has nothing to praise about themselves, they criticize their opponents. Criticism of opponents can be done in two ways: one is to highlight the actual flaws of the opponents, and the other, more heinous way is to highlight non-existent flaws or exaggerate the existing ones.

The BJP often resorts to the latter type of criticism. This kind of criticism has no basis in reality and defies common sense.

Recently, a post consisting of six photos was shared from BJP’s Instagram account, depicting that when Narendra Modi breathes, development happens;

when Rahul Gandhi breathes, Congress seats are halved;

when Lalu Prasad Yadav breathes, fodder theft happens;

when Akhilesh Yadav breathes, taps are stolen;

when Mamata Banerjee breathes, infiltrators get entry; and

when Arvind Kejriwal breathes, a new Thheka is open.

One must question these wise BJP members: When Narendra Modi was breathing and development was happening, were Rahul Gandhi holding their breath?

And when Mamata Banerjee’s breathing allowed infiltrators get entry, was Narendra Modi holding his breath?

It would have been better if the BJP counted the breaths of all those whose breaths were taken away without any fault, like Akhlaq, Pehlu Khan, Tabrez Ansari, Junaid and Nasir instead of counting the breaths of Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, Arvind Kejriwal, and Lalu Prasad Yadav.

The caption under this post (or meme) “choose BJP choose development”

“If choosing BJP leads to development, where is the development of the last 10 years?

And if there has indeed been development in the last 10 years, then why does the BJP need to make such ridiculous posts?”

If the BJP has genuinely achieved development, they should showcase their progress from 2014 to 2024 and win the government in 2024 based on that. However, the BJP knows very well that if votes were based on development, they would lose their security deposit. That is why we often see such memes on the BJP’s Instagram page.

We should laugh at these memes because India already ranks 126th out of 143 countries on the World Happiness Report. If we wait for the country to develop or for employment to be available to be happy, we might keep waiting forever.

To those who constantly criticize the BJP, I would like to say that despite BJP’s creation of such an excellent meme page, if India is still ranked 126th out of 143, what else can Narendra Modi do?
