BJP Leader Tarun Chugh Accuses Abdullah Family of Supporting ISI, Calls Them ‘Pakistani Ambassadors’

12 Jul. 24: In a recent statement, BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, who is also in-charge of the party’s affairs in Jammu and Kashmir, criticized Farooq and Omar Abdullah, branding them as “ambassadors of Pakistan in India.” Chugh accused the Abdullahs of echoing sentiments aligned with Pakistan’s ISI and failing to acknowledge the development in Jammu and Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370.

Chugh lambasted the Abdullahs for allegedly siding with ISI-sponsored terrorists and attempting to undermine the Modi government whenever attacks occur. He praised the armed forces for their relentless efforts to combat terrorism and highlighted the significant progress in J&K, citing reduced incidents of stone-pelting and strikes as evidence of newfound peace in the region.

“The Abdullahs are losing ground in J&K as people recognize their nefarious designs,” Chugh asserted as stated by the Siasat Daily. He emphasized that the Modi government has been providing improved education and employment opportunities, which have resonated well with the local populace.

Chugh also accused both the Abdullah and Mufti families of keeping J&K in darkness for ages, stating that the abrogation of Article 370 has ushered in an era of development that the Abdullahs and Muftis allegedly oppose due to their covert support for ISI’s designs, which Chugh condemned as anti-national.

This statement underscores the BJP’s stance on regional leadership and the ongoing political dynamics in Jammu and Kashmir.
