Loni, Uttar Pradesh: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar has launched a scathing attack on his own party’s government in Uttar Pradesh, calling it the “most corrupt government ever.” His remarks come a day after a violent clash between his supporters and police during a “Kalash Yatra” in Loni, reported the Hindustan Times.
Speaking at a press conference, Gurjar accused state government officials of misleading Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and looting public funds. He specifically alleged that the Chief Secretary had “tied the brain of Maharaj Ji” (referring to CM Adityanath) through occult practices. “The Chief Secretary is the most corrupt officer in the world. Officers have looted land in Ayodhya,” he claimed.
Gurjar, appearing in a torn kurta, alleged that his clothes were ripped by the police during the confrontation. He further accused the government of failing to curb mass-scale cow slaughter and conducting fake encounters.
The controversy erupted after thousands of devotees, led by Gurjar, participated in the religious procession without police permission. Authorities attempted to stop the event, leading to clashes.
The BJP leadership has not yet responded to Gurjar’s explosive claims. However, the incident has sparked political tension in the state.
