New Delhi: At the International Research Scholar Ghalib Seminar held at the Ghalib Auditorium, the book ‘Talib Rampuri: Danishwaron ki Nazr Mein (Talib Rampuri: In the Eyes of Intellectuals), compiled by Advocate M. Rais Farooqui, was launched before the second literary session.
Talib Rampuri is regarded as a prominent poet with a distinct classical style, deeply influenced by traditional values while reflecting the joys and sorrows of contemporary life in his unique expression.
Born in the literary-rich city of Rampur, Talib Rampuri was fortunate to be in the company of great poets, which helped shape his literary journey. He holds dear the classical values of Urdu literature while harboring a heartfelt concern for the current state of the literary world. This concern has driven him to dedicate himself to the cultural and literary development of the younger generation. Many of his students have now become established poets, forming a strong literary circle.
Despite his significant contributions, Talib Rampuri has remained indifferent to fame and recognition, focusing solely on the serious and meaningful service of the Urdu literature. His students, following in his footsteps, also contribute selflessly to this noble cause.
The book launch was attended by notable literary figures, including Talib Rampuri, Professor Khwaja Mohammad Ikramuddin, Dr. Idris Ahmad, Dr. Arshad Al-Qadri, Advocate Imran Malik Kiranvi, and Mr. Athar Hussain Ansari, among others.
