AIUTC Student Wing Rajasthan Hosts Seminar on Students’ Role in Enhancing Tibbi Colleges

Better Coordination Between Students and Teachers is Crucial for Progress: Dr. Syed Ahmed Khan

Jaipur: The Rajasthan chapter of AIUTC (All India Unani Tibbi Congress) Student Wing organised a one-day seminar at the Islamic Center here on “The Role of Students in Improving Tibbi Colleges.”

The seminar was presided over by the eminent academic, Professor Ghulam Qutub Chishti, while the event was moderated by Professor Abdul Majeed. Local MLA Rafiq Khan graced the occasion as the chief guest and inspired the students, emphasising the importance of maintaining a proactive spirit. He stated, “If students lose their drive, they risk settling into a life of complacency. Social progress is deeply rooted in movements, and initiatives like the formation of the Student Wing of AIUTC are a significant step toward student success.”

Distinguished speakers, including Professor Syed Muhammad Shafiq Ahmed Naqvi, Professor Abdul Shakoor Khan, Professor Irshad Ahmed Khan, and Professor Abdul Majeed, also addressed the gathering. They encouraged students to remain consistent in their academic pursuits and stressed the importance of regular attendance in classes.

The Secretary-General of AIUTC, Dr. Syed Ahmed Khan, congratulated everyone on the successful event. He extended special appreciation to Professor Ghulam Qutub Chishti, Professor Abdul Majeed, and Dr. Wasiur Rahman for their pivotal roles in establishing the Student Wing and organising the seminar.

Dr. Khan stated, “The formation of the Student Wing is a progressive step toward fostering better coordination between teachers and students. We aim to establish similar wings in Tibbi colleges across the country.”

Hakim Maulvi Muhammad Salman elaborated on the objectives of the seminar, highlighting its significance in empowering students to play an active role in improving the quality of Tibbi education.

The event saw the participation of several notable figures, including Dr. Raza Ali Khan, Dr. Shamim Siddiqui, Dr. Muhammad Shoaib Ajmeri, Dr. Sabir Hussain, Dr. Haroon, and Dr. Z. Rahman. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Wasiur Rahman, who expressed gratitude to all attendees and contributors.
