New Delhi, Aug 28: An important meeting was convened at the Unani Medical Centre of Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM) located at Safdarjung Hospital under the chairmanship of Dr Zia-ul-Haq Siddiqui. Dr Siddiqui, who is In-Charge of the Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine, New Delhi, highlighted that the centre was established for the benefit of the general public. Similar centres have also been established at Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, DDU Hospital, and the All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi.
Dr Siddiqui elaborated that all services, from registration to medicine delivery, are provided free of charge at these centres. In order to further benefit the public, the Unani Medical Centre at Safdarjung Hospital will be upgraded to a Hijama (Cupping Therapy) Super Specialty Centre.
The meeting was attended by the In-Charge of the Unani Medical Centre, Dr Zaki Ahmad Siddiqui; Dr Syed Ahmad Khan, Dr Tamanna Nazli, and paramedical staff. Dr Zaki Ahmad expressed his gratitude to all participants, especially Dr Zia-ul-Haq Siddiqui, for their commitment and support in enhancing the services offered by the centre.
