Cheque Distribution for School Fees Exceeds ₹2.5 Lakh

Malwani, Jan. 10: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Malwani, in collaboration with the Professional Solidarity Forum (PSF) Mumbai’s Kafalat Project, organized a school fees distribution program here Monday.

Speaking with Radiance, Anwar Shaikh, President of JIH Malwani said that half of the amount was already distributed in August 2023 for the 1st term installment fee, and the remaining amount for the second term installment fee was distributed in January 2024, totalling ₹2.5 lac. Thus far, the total fees for the first and second terms amount to ₹5,11,200/ for the academic year 2023-2024.

The project, a result of the collaborative efforts of the Professional Solidarity Forum and JIH Malwani, has been actively contributing to the welfare of Malwani for several years.

Moreover, JIH President Malwani mentioned that on Monday, at the Islamic Welfare Centre in Mhada, the program witnessed participation of elders from the locality.

Sayyed Mehboob provided guidance on the importance of education, emphasizing how education transforms lives and how educated individuals can change the conditions of family, society, and the nation.

Anwar Shaikh delivered the concluding speech, emphasizing the significance of education and effective parenting.

Rashid Shaikh, Kafalat Malwani In-charge, shared insights into the meticulous approach of the Kafalat project, which conducts surveys to identify deserving students and ensures the arrangement of their school fees. A nominal fee of ₹8000/- is allocated for the primary section and ₹12000/- for the secondary section. Additionally, students and parents receive guidance on education and personality development.

Anwar added that a total of 45 students have benefited from this initiative, fostering a positive impact on their education and overall development.

This collaborative effort exemplifies the unwavering commitment of JIH Malwani and PSF towards promoting education and supporting educational needs of the community.
