On Children Day, 14th November, more than a dozen Women organizations of India have called for immediate ceasefire and have appealed to women to hold a placard, banner and take a photograph and upload on social media with hashtags #CeaseFireinGazaNow and #StopKillingInnocentChildren.
These organizations have also asked the women to release PAPER LANTERNS across the nation on November 15th at 18.30 pm. The slogan of this campaign is, “Aurten Utthi Nahin To Zulm Badhta Jayega.”
The organizations that have appealed for immediate ceasefire are: AIDWA, AIMSS, Anhad, Bebaak Collective, JCoR Networks of West India, Law and Policy Research Institute, NFIW, OBR India, Pehchan, Purogami Mahila Sangathan, Sahara CO-op Minorities Society Ltd, Sahara Education Welfare & Development Charitable Trust, Vimochana, YMCA India.
