A vibrant children’s rally, organized under the nationwide environmental campaign “Mitti Mein Haath, Dil Watan Ke Saath” (Hands in the Soil, Heart with the Nation), concluded today at Albert Hall in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The campaign, spearheaded by the Children’s Islamic Organization (CIO), is being conducted across India from June 25 to July 25, 2025, to promote environmental awareness and tree plantation.
The rally began at 9:00 AM from Badi Chaupar, passing through Johari Bazaar and Sanganeri Gate, and finally reaching Ram Niwas Bagh, where the iconic Albert Hall is located. A large number of children enthusiastically participated in the event, holding placards with powerful messages promoting environmental protection and the importance of planting trees.
The objective of the rally was to inspire collective action for a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment.
At the concluding ceremony held at Albert Hall, Rubina Abrar, the State President of the Children’s Islamic Organization, addressed the young participants. She highlighted the goals of the campaign, stating, “This initiative encourages children to plant trees in public parks, hospitals, schools, and religious places to foster a cleaner and healthier environment.” She further shared that the campaign aims to plant one million trees across the country through the active involvement of children.
The event was also graced by Mohammad Nazimuddin, State President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Rajasthan. In his address, he appreciated the children’s spirited efforts and emphasized the essential role of tree plantation in conserving the environment. Quoting the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, he said, “Whoever plants a tree, and its fruits, flowers, or leaves are consumed by humans or animals, it becomes a source of ongoing charity (sadaqah) for the planter.” His words deeply motivated the young participants to continue their efforts in environmental preservation.
This rally and the larger campaign reflect a growing awareness among the youth to take charge of environmental stewardship. The enthusiastic participation of children in Jaipur highlighted their commitment to nurturing a greener and more sustainable future.
