Completion of Quran Memorisation Ceremony Held at Darul Uloom Rahmaniya, Delhi

Scholars and Huffaz Are Guardians of Urdu Language and Cultural Identity: Dr. Syed Ahmad Khan

New Delhi: Darul Uloom Rahmaniya (affiliated with Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama, Lucknow), located in Sangam Vihar, organised a ceremony to mark the completion of Quran memorisation by four students. On this occasion, students Muhammad Ubaid bin Qari Hayat-ur-Rahman, Muhammad Anas bin Zafar Ahmad, Muhammad Arshad bin Rehmat, and Noor Kamal bin Sanwar Ali recited their final lessons to their teachers, Mufti Riyaz-ul-Haq and Qari Nazim Ali.

Addressing the gathering, Maulana Mahmood Ahmad Qasmi (Imam and Khateeb, Madina Masjid, Govindpuri) emphasised that madrasa students should not fall into any sense of inferiority and must preserve their Islamic identity and appearance.

Maulana Meraj Khan Nadwi, principal of Darul Uloom Rahmaniya, congratulated the students and their guardians while extending gratitude to all attendees. The programme concluded with a supplication led by Maulana Bilal Ahmad Qasmi.

Dr. Syed Ahmad Khan, National President of Urdu Development Organisation, highlighted the significance of Huffaz and scholars, describing them as the protectors of Urdu language, culture, and identity. He stressed that supporting madrasas is a moral obligation for everyone in India.

Prominent attendees included Qari Hayat-ur-Rahman (Khodacolony), Maulana Abdul Hai Qasmi (Noida), Qari Irshad Nadwi, Hafiz Shadab, Mufti Kaleem Nadwi, Hafiz Nadeem, Qari Waseem, Hafiz Nizamuddin, Haji Ishaq, Dr. Parvez Khan, Maulana Shams-ul-Haq, Syed Zahid Ali, and Abdul Ahad.
