Kozhikode: The Congress party has accused the Adani Group of earning a windfall profit of ₹900 crore through the Kozhikode National Highway project, alleging major irregularities in its execution. Terming it a “massive scam,” the party demanded a detailed probe into the project’s financial structure and alleged undue benefits granted to the corporate giant, reported the Mathrubhumi.
The Congress claimed that land acquisition and construction costs were manipulated to favour the Adani Group, raising serious concerns over transparency and public interest in infrastructure development. Party leaders have called upon both state and central governments to come clean on the project’s agreements.
The accusations have reignited debates around the nexus between corporates and infrastructure deals, especially in Kerala, where the project has significant public impact.
