The Danish Siddiqui Foundation (DSF) and Jindal Global University (JGU) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote photojournalism education in India.
On signing this agreement, Prof. MA Siddiqui, DSF Director Trustee said, “We are delighted to work with Jindal Global University in this transformative collaboration. Education is a powerful catalyst for change, and through this partnership, we aim to inspire the next generation of visual storytellers and advocates. These initiatives will provide students with unique insights into photojournalism and beyond… through this collaboration, we can contribute to the growth and development of students at JSJC.”
Earlier, the foundation had announced Danish Siddiqui Journalism to current undergraduate and graduate students of Indian universities. The scholarship aims to encourage EWS category students to promote value-based journalism, through scholarships of ₹50,000 each to five selected students and guided mentorship.
