Divyodaya Centre Celebrates 45th Anniversary with ‘Sangamam-2024’

Coimbatore, August 6: The Divyodaya Inter-Religious Centre marked a significant milestone with the celebration of ‘Sangamam-2024,’ commemorating its 45th Foundation Day and the Anniversary of the Peace and Harmony Club.

Fr. Wilson CMI Chakkyath emphasized the vital role of unity in fostering peace and harmony, particularly in the minds of the youth and within society at large.

The event witnessed the participation of various esteemed religious leaders, including Bp. Timothy Ravinder, Bishop of the CSI Coimbatore Diocese, Arjun representing Perur Adheenam Thavathiru Shanthalinga Marudhasala Adigalar, M. Abdul Hakim, Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Coimbatore, Motilal Rathore, a committee member of Sri Jain Coimbatore Sangh, and Gurpreet Singh, President of Gurudwara Coimbatore. Each leader shared profound insights on the importance of interfaith dialogue and promoting peace.

The celebration also recognized the outstanding efforts of young peace ambassadors from Liseux Matric Hr Sec School and Trinity School, who received awards for their exemplary contributions to peace and harmony through their respective Peace and Harmony Clubs.
