New Delhi, Sept 10: In a step towards promoting global harmony, Dr. Al Nuaimi, alongside the Manara Foundation from Abu Dhabi, has committed full support to the upcoming Interfaith Parliament of All Religions. This monumental event, slated for January 2025 at Mandapam here aims to send a powerful message of unity and diversity to the world.
The announcement was made during a meeting organized by Bhartiya Sarva Dharma Sansad (BSDS) at the India Islamic Cultural Centre here Monday. The meeting, chaired by Goswami Sushil Ji Maharaj, brought together interfaith leaders and the Manara Foundation’s delegation to discuss the event’s preparations. Dr. Al Nuaimi expressed his enthusiasm and pledged the Manara Foundation’s collaboration with BSDS to ensure the event’s success.
The Manara Center, renowned for its efforts in promoting coexistence in the UAE, will play a crucial role in the event. Based in Abu Dhabi, the Center is dedicated to fostering tolerance, especially through initiatives like the UAE’s Year of Tolerance. With its extensive experience in youth engagement and social inclusion, the Manara Center will work to address stereotypes and build bridges among diverse communities.
Goswami Sushil Ji Maharaj, speaking to Radiance, highlighted strong support for the event, noting that Iqbal Singh Lalpura, Chairman of India’s National Commission for Minorities, has also pledged his full backing. Goswami Ji emphasized the collective resolve to make the Interfaith Parliament a resounding success, showcasing India’s commitment to unity and diversity on the global stage.
