Dr. Rahat Raza Retires, Dr. Zia-ul-Haq Takes Charge at New Delhi’s Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine

New Delhi, July 31: Dr. Rahat Raza, Deputy Director in-charge at the Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine (CCRUM), New Delhi, retired today after 31 years of dedicated service. Succeeding him is Dr. Zia-ul-Haq from Lucknow, who has been appointed as the new Deputy Director in-charge, said Dr. Syed Ahmed Khan, Former Deputy Director, CCRUM, New Delhi.

The farewell ceremony for Dr. Rahat Raza was attended by several distinguished guests, including Dr. N. Zaheer Ahmed (Director General, CCRUM), Dr. Mohammad Khalid Siddiqui (former Director General, CCRUM), Dr. Sadaqatullah Sadiq, Dr. Mohammad Fazil Khan, Dr. Rashidullah Khan, Dr. Syed Ahmed Khan, Dr. Zaki Ahmed Siddiqui, Dr. Abdul Rahim, Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Dr. Ghazala Javed, Dr. Shaista Arooj, Dr. Priyanka, Dr. Meena Kumari, Dr. Tamanna Nazli, Dr. Mohammad Fazil, Dr. Jamal Akhtar, and Mohammad Parvez.

Staff from the CCRUM headquarters, Unani Medical Centre at Safdarjung Hospital, Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, DDU Hospital, and Hakim Ajmal Khan Literary Research Institute of Unani Medicine were also present to honor Dr. Raz’s contributions and extend their best wishes.

The event concluded with Dr. Zaki Ahmed Siddiqui expressing gratitude to all attendees.
