New Delhi, Aug 27: Dr. Idrees Qureshi, acting president of Delhi Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat, on Tuesday expressed deep regret over the cancellation of the TGT Urdu exam by the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB).
Dr. Qureshi emphasized that the cancellation has caused significant distress to the candidates who had been rigorously preparing for the exam, especially in a time of rising unemployment. He highlighted that such setbacks can lead to despair among aspirants, many of whom may abandon their preparations entirely, resulting in a lifetime of lost opportunities and unfulfilled potential. For many, education no longer seems to serve a purpose when faced with such disappointments.
In a message of encouragement, Dr. Qureshi advised the affected candidates to remain dedicated and persistent in their studies, assuring them that with hard work and determination, success will eventually come, with the grace of God. He also urged the government to consider the plight of those candidates whose families depend on their potential income before making such decisions. Additionally, he called for strict action against any officials involved in the cancellation of the exam to prevent such incidents in the future.
