Jaipur: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) state office in Adarsh Nagar, Jaipur, on Thursday night. SDPI workers protested, raising slogans against the government. A heavy police force was deployed.

The raid follows the arrest of SDPI national president MK Faizi under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) two days ago. SDPI officials were questioned at the main office in Dhanna Das ki Bagichi, but no arrests were made.
The ED also raided SDPI offices in 12 locations nationwide, including Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram, Malappuram, Bengaluru, Nandyal, Thane, Chennai, Pakur, Kolkata, and Lucknow. These operations are part of an ongoing investigation.
SDPI, a political front of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI), has been led by Faizi since 2018. He was arrested on March 3 and sent to six days of ED custody by a Delhi special court.
