Uzma’s tenacity was soon put to the test when she undertook the rigorous Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) exams. Supported by the unwavering moral and financial backing of her mother and relatives, Uzma navigated the challenges with grace and determination.
In a remarkable display of perseverance, Uzma cleared the MPSC prelims in her first attempt, earning the opportunity to further her education in Pune. Undeterred by setbacks, she triumphed in the MPSC mains and excelled in the physical tests, achieving an impressive score of 90%.
Despite narrowly missing initial selection, Uzma’s indomitable spirit secured her a place on the waiting list, ranking third. Her journey to becoming a police sub-inspector is now within reach, awaiting completion of 11 months of training – a testament to Uzma’s unwavering resolve and the fulfillment of her lifelong dream.
