New Delhi, August 3: The Executive Development Program, organized by Jamia Hamdard’s Centre for Training and Development, concluded at Jamia Hamdard on Friday.
The event began with a recitation from the Quran, followed by a report from Professor Saeeda Nisa of the MBA department, who detailed the training faculty. This included former faculty from the Centre for Training and Management, various departments of Jamia Hamdard, and the university’s Registrar.
The non-teaching staff involved in the program included the university’s deputy registrar, section officers, and senior assistants. This program was made possible with financial support from the Hamdard Learning and Welfare Society (BEW). The objective was to enhance the skills, understanding, and capabilities of the staff.
President of All India Educational Movement, Khwaja Shahid, expressed satisfaction with the program, noting that both the training faculty and the staff were pleased with the outcomes. Vice-Chancellor Professor Afshar Alam thanked Khwaja Shahid and Professor Reshma Nasreen for their efforts in making the program a reality. He expressed hope that the non-teaching staff’s performance, especially in correspondence with various ministries of the Government of India, would improve as a result. He also suggested organizing similar programs for the heads of departments at the university.
Registrar Dr. M.A. Sikander highlighted the benefits of such training and hoped for improved staff performance. The Vice-Chancellor then distributed certificates to the participating staff. Abdul Rashid, General Secretary of the Educational Movement, thanked the guests and the Hamdard Learning and Welfare Society. The event was conducted by Assistant Professor Tomina Cherian.
