Mumbai, May 22: The Federation of Maharashtra Muslims has expressed profound grief over the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash. In their condolence message, the Federation’s leaders stated, “This is indeed a very difficult time for the Iranian nation, and we stand with them in this period of mourning.”
The Federation further expressed hope that the Iranian nation would emerge strong from this time of sorrow and continue to confront exploitative forces. They highlighted Iran’s role in standing up to anti-Islam and anti-Muslim powers, particularly mentioning Iran’s clear stance and support for the Palestinian cause. The statement suggested that hostile forces may be behind this tragic incident and emphasized the need for the Iranian people to overcome this calamity and continue their service to the Islamic world.
