Jhunjhunu: A formal complaint has been lodged with Superintendent of Police Sharad Chaudhary, seeking the registration of an FIR against Yati Narsinghanand for making blasphemous remarks about Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The complaint was filed by prominent Muslim leaders of the region, including city Qazi Safiullah, Rajasthan Madrasa Board chairman MD Chopdar, Maulana Shokat, Mufti Imran, and councilor Makbool Hussain, among others.
The group, representing the Muslims in Jhunjhunu, expressed deep concern over Narsinghanand’s inflammatory statements, calling for strict legal action. While submitting the complaint, they emphasized that the Muslim community in Jhunjhunu is committed to maintaining communal harmony and peace. However, they also stressed that they will not tolerate any attempts to disrupt societal harmony through such offensive and divisive rhetoric.
The leaders urged both state and central governments to take strong measures against individuals who incite communal tensions, advocating for the implementation of stricter laws to prevent such incidents in the future.
