First Interfaith Parliament of All Religions to Be Held in India

18 August 2024: Bhartiya Sarva Dharma Sansad has announced that the proposal for an Interfaith Parliament of all religions introduced a year ago has finally decided to hold the First Interfaith Parliament of All Religions in Delhi later this year during its meeting on Sunday.

On 17th August 2024, the proposal reached a final decision during a meeting that the inaugural Interfaith Parliament of All Religions will take place later this year in Delhi, India. This landmark conference will gather a diverse assembly of spiritual leaders, scholars, and community representatives from around the world, all committed to fostering dialogue and unity among various faith traditions.

The meeting was organized by Bhartiya Sarva Dharma Sansad at Maharishi Bhrigu Sansthan in Greater Noida. Event was presided over by Shri Iqbal Singh Lalpura, Chairman of the National Commission for Minorities, along with Mohan Ji of the Mohan Ji Foundation, and Maharishi Bhrigu Pithadhishwar, Goswami Sushil Maharaj Ji, National Convener of Bhartiya Sarava Dharama Sansad.

Acharya Yog Bhushan Ji, Paramjeet Singh Chandok Ji, Maninder Jain Ji, Parmeet Singh Chadha (WSCC), Veer Singh Hitkari Ji, Fr. Bento, Dhyanacharya Dr. Ajay Jain Ji, Sister B.K. Husain, Mehzban Zaiwala, Bhante Dipankar Ji, Fr. Saji Palamattom, Fr. Jipson Palatty, Aditya Ghadiyal Ji, Naresh Gupta Ji, and Prof. Neeraj Ji also were present during the meeting.

During the meet discussion was also held on the preparations for this upcoming significant interfaith gathering, which aims to promote a deeper understanding and cooperation among different religious communities. This initiative is considered a crucial step towards creating a more inclusive society, with the planned Interfaith House serving as a central hub for these ongoing efforts.
