On June 25th, following the Asr prayer, a flag hoisting ceremony for CIO was held at the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind headquarters. The event was attended by approximately 150 children, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere at the center.
The ceremony commenced with a young girl reciting Surah Al-Fatihah and providing its translation. Mrs. Khan Mubashsharah Firdous, Assistant Secretary of Jamaat, outlined the purpose and significance of the event. Mr. Syed Sadatullah Husaini, Ameer (President) of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, expressed his joy and appreciation for the organization’s activities. The event was also graced by the presence of S. Ameen Ul Hasan, Vice President of JIH, Syed Tanveer Ahmed, Secretary of JIH, and other officials. Many children were accompanied by their mothers.
Following the ceremony, the children were treated to ice cream, and they were seen enthusiastically waving their flags.
The religious education of young children is a crucial need in contemporary times. It is hoped that the CIO will effectively meet this need through its initiatives and activities.
