Forty-three from minority welfare coaching succeed in BPSC Test

Patna, October 29: Forty-three aspirants of the coaching and guidance cell of the Minority Welfare Department, Government of Bihar got success in the 67th BPSC civil services test. The result was declared here Saturday.

This cell functions in Haj Bhavan, Patna. There are 12 female candidates who got selected for the state civil services. Overall, 799 candidates have been declared successful. According to media reports, a total of 55 Muslim candidates were declared successful.

According to the media cell in-charge of the coaching and guidance cell, Saghir Ahmad, a total of 150 candidates appeared in the main examination of 67th BPSC. Forty-five of these 150 were declared successful in the main examination. There were 55 from other places who prepared for the interview from Haj Bhavan. Thus, a total of 100 candidates appeared in the interview phase of the test. After the interview, 43 were declared selected in the final result.

Six successful candidates took Hindi Literature and the same number took Sociology as their optional subjects while five chose Persian.

Out of the 43, four are selected for Subdivisional magistrate while three are selected as deputy superintendent of police. Ten are selected as Rural Development Officers.
