‘Free Kashmir’ Graffiti Found on Delhi Park Wall; FIR Registered

New Delhi, June 12: Delhi Police have initiated an investigation after discovering “Free Kashmir” graffiti on a wall in Dwarka’s Sector-13. The provocative message was found on Monday evening in a park managed by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA).

In response, authorities registered a First Information Report (FIR) under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Defacement of Property Act at the Dwarka North police station. A senior police official reportedly said that a team is currently reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify the individuals responsible for the graffiti.

The incident has raised concerns about security and public sentiment, prompting the police to act swiftly to address the defacement and reassure the community. Further updates are awaited as the investigation progresses.
