Mysuru : At just 15 years old, Rifa Taskeen from Mysuru has already achieved what many consider extraordinary. From riding bikes and cars to handling an aircraft, her journey reflects a remarkable passion for driving and flying.
Rifa’s fascination with vehicles began at the age of three, when she first steered a car while sitting on her father Tajuddin’s lap. Since then, she has mastered driving cars, riding bikes, and even piloting small aircrafts under supervision.
Now, she has set her sights on a bigger dream — becoming a fighter jet pilot. Rifa says her inspiration comes from watching the Indian Air Force and her determination to push boundaries in a field still seen as unconventional for young girls.
Her story has drawn admiration from educators, aviation enthusiasts, and women’s rights advocates, who see her as a symbol of courage, ambition, and breaking stereotypes.
