Bhopal: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) launched a nationwide campaign to promote the rights of neighbours, aiming to strengthen peace, harmony, and mutual respect within communities. The initiative also sought to revive the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, who emphasised kindness, compassion, and responsibility towards one’s neighbours.
Across India, every department actively participated. Children Islamic Organisation (CIO) joined the movement under the theme “My Neighbour, My Friend.” Children enthusiastically took part in the activities, spreading messages of love, care, and togetherness within their neighbourhoods.
In Madhya Pradesh, the Halqa implemented the campaign with thoughtful planning. Mentors followed a structured mansuba that ensured activities were meaningful and well-organised. Throughout the week, children practised the Sunnah by sharing food, exchanging small gifts, and spreading happiness among their neighbours.
CIO children also performed several acts, plays, and short reels depicting the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, creatively conveying messages of kindness, compassion, and good neighbourly conduct.
To deepen awareness, programmes and assemblies were conducted in various schools, helping students understand the Islamic teachings related to neighbourly rights and the importance of building peaceful, caring communities.
Creative and educational programmes such as rallies, plays, drawing competitions, and reel-making events sticking hadith stickers everywhere further strengthened the campaign’s impact. These collective efforts not only engaged the community but also reminded everyone of timeless Islamic values that nurture unity, compassion, and peaceful coexistence.
