6 October 2023: Ghaziabad Police has imposed Goonda Act on Hindu Raksha Dal (HRD) national president Bhupendra Chaudhary alias Pinky Bhaiya. Two separate cases were registered against him in two police stations within 24 hours in Ghaziabad.
It is reported that during vehicle checking in Rajnagar Extension area on September 1, the traffic police had issued a challan to a vehicle which had ‘Jai Mata Di’ sticker on it. In protest against this, HRD members reached there and created ruckus, and sat on strike. National President Pinky Bhaiya also reached the spot. The video of him arguing with a traffic policeman and trying to snatch his mobile phone had also gone viral on social media.
HRD members have claimed that the traffic police issued the challan because the vehicle displayed ‘Jai Mata Di’ written on it. They argue that there is no rule against such displays.
Now in this case, Head Constable Dinesh Kumar has filed a case against Bhupendra Chaudhary and 10-12 unknown people in Nandgram police station. The head constable has said that these people obstructed government work and committed indecency.
The second case has been registered in Shalimar Garden police station. In this case the remains of cows were found in the drain on September 23. Here too, HRD workers had created a ruckus. As per reports available, ACP Suryabali Maurya said that Pinky Chaudhary reached there and used abusive language about the Hindu religion and hurt religious sentiments. A case has been registered while taking cognizance of the video of this statement.
