Hyderabad: A delegation of Girls Islamic Organisation (GIO), Telangana met with Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and Member of Telangana Legislative Council K. Kavitha at her residence here.
The delegation members presented the New Year’s diary to the BRS leader. They also informed her about the mission and the work of the GIO. The delegation also briefed Kavitha on the efforts of the GIO for development of women in social and educational fields and the future plans of the organisation.
Kavitha lauded the efforts of GIO and said that organisations like these are playing a key role in social and educational development of women. She expressed her best wishes for the GIO team and assured it of all the support.
The delegation included Telangana GIO president Asfia Anam and secretary Sania Maryam.
