Jaipur: Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Social Welfare Society felicitated Haj service providers from Rajasthan at a ceremony held at Haj House. The event recognised their exceptional contributions to serving Haj pilgrims.
Among the honourees were Laeeq Ahmed Ansari and Arzoo Ansari from Baran district, who have consistently delivered outstanding services to Haj pilgrims for several years. They were presented with mementos and certificates of appreciation by M. Sadiq, President of the Society.
The event was attended by employees and officials of the Haj Committee, airport authority staff, hundreds of Haj service providers, and prominent dignitaries from Jaipur and surrounding areas.
- Sadiq Khan welcomed representatives from various organisations, including societies, NGOs, the State Haj Committee, CISF officers, and other service providers from across Rajasthan. Each was honoured with certificates and mementos in acknowledgment of their efforts.
During his speech, M. Sadiq Khan highlighted the inspiring life of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and urged the attendees to focus on educating their children and contributing to the nation’s progress.
Key dignitaries in attendance included BJP Rajasthan Vice President Sardar Ajay Pal Singh, National Vice President BJP Morcha Hussain Khan, former Haj Committee Chairman Firoz Khan, and numerous other notable figures such as Usman Chauhan, Farman Ahmed, Fariduddin Jackie, Shahjad Khan, Dr. Taslima Bano, and Sahil Mirza, among others.
