New Delhi: Tej Lal Bharti, National President of Hakim Ajmal Khan Forum for Peace and Communal Harmony, and Dr. Syed Ahmad Khan, General Secretary of the Forum, in a joint statement, expressed happiness over the release of Muhammad Azam Khan after 23 months of imprisonment.
Gandhian leader and Chairman of Bachchon Ka Ghar, Daryaganj, New Delhi, Mr. Tej Lal Bharti said that those who accomplish great tasks are always tested but ultimately succeed. In the same manner, Muhammad Azam Khan was trapped in various frivolous and false cases and sent to jail, but has now finally been released.
Tej Lal Bharti further remarked that it is due to the judiciary in the country that many innocent people are regaining their freedom and the secular character of India is being preserved. However, some people still attempt to impose their narrow-minded ideology on the nation, but the majority of citizens reject them. The people firmly believe in the secular vision of our great national leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, and they know well who the true loyalists of the nation are.
