Hamas Urges Arab, Islamic Leaders to Uphold Responsibilities towards Gaza Genocide

Hamas, the Palestinian Resistance Movement, called on “the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries to uphold their responsibilities and not be content only with statements of condemnation.” It urged them to “take action to stop the genocidal war and ethnic cleansing that our people are being subjected to.”

According to the Middle East Monitor, the movement, in a statement, asserted on Friday: “The storming of the martyr Kamal Adwan Hospital in the Beit Lahia Project by the terrorist occupation army… is a war crime and a blatant violation of international laws.”

“The Zionist occupation government continues to commit a war of genocide in the northern Gaza Strip, without caring about any repercussions, in light of the full support and protection provided to it by the US administration,” it added.

The movement stressed: “The massacres being committed in the northern Gaza Strip and the criminal bombing focused on homes, and the demolition of residential blocks over their residents… is a Zionist insistence on its ethnic cleansing campaign taking place in the northern Gaza Strip.”

Hamas called on the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries to “uphold their responsibilities towards protecting our people, not be satisfied with statements of condemnation and to act to stop the war of genocide and ethnic cleansing.”

It ended with criticism of the international community: “The international community and its institutions that are silent over these crimes bear the political and moral responsibility for their continuation and for this collapse that the world is witnessing in the system of values and laws that govern it, due to the widespread Zionist violations of them.”
