Hate Message Targeting Muslims Painted on Delhi Dehradun Highway

New Delhi: Tension has risen ahead of Holi after members of the Hindu Raksha Dal painted a message reading “Yeh sadak Musalmano ke liye nahi hai” on a cement wall along the Delhi Dehradun highway near the Uttar Pradesh Uttarakhand border.

A 59 second video of the act surfaced on social media. The footage shows several women wearing saffron scarves writing the message in large black and white letters. A male activist records the act on his phone. Religious slogans are raised after the writing is completed.

Initial reports linked the incident to Ghaziabad. Police later clarified that it occurred near the Saharanpur district border. Officers have launched a probe and are identifying those involved through the video footage.

Hindu Raksha Dal president Pinky Chaudhary admitted that members of his organisation carried out the act. He said women activists wrote the message. He claimed that Muslims have no right to use the highway if they do not pay taxes. Police officials are verifying the exact location and examining his statement.

Authorities suspect the act aimed to disturb communal harmony before the Holi festival. Police sources said the incident appears planned. They are reviewing the video and collecting evidence. Officials stated that they will take action after completing the investigation.

The message has raised concern among local residents and rights observers. Many view such public displays as attempts to exclude Muslims from shared public spaces. Police presence in the area has increased to prevent escalation.
