Hyderabad: BJP MLA Raja Singh Booked Over DJ Use, Unruly Behaviour During Rama Navami Procession

Hyderabad: BJP Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh has been booked by the Hyderabad police for the unauthorized use of high-volume DJ systems during the Rama Navami Shobha Yatra held on April 6, reported the Siasat.
In addition to Raja Singh, cases have been registered against former BJP minister Anand Singh and BJP MP candidate Bhagavanth Rao. All three have been named in an FIR filed by the Mangalhat police.
According to authorities, the procession violated sound regulations, causing public disturbance. Moreover, it was reported that the MLA and his associates used inappropriate and “unparliamentary language” against on-duty police officers during the event.
The organizers reportedly failed to obtain the required permissions for using loud DJ equipment, leading to violations of civic and noise control guidelines.
Police confirmed that further investigations into the incident are ongoing.
