IIISR Opens Coaching Classes for UGC-NET/SET Exam Dec 2023

New Delhi, October 13: The Indian Institute of Islamic Studies and Research (IIISR) inaugurated classes for UGC-NTA NET JRF coaching examinations here Tuesday. These examinations are scheduled to be held in December this year.

Dr. Khan Yasir, IIISR Director In-Charge delivering the welcome address

In his welcome address, Dr. Khan Yasir, IIISR Director In-Charge, said the aim of IIISR is to facilitate students to Islamise knowledge as well as to create knowledge in the light of divine guidance. It is essential that the students who are studying in IIISR are guided to compete for NET-JRF so that they may choose a path of academics and research for their future.

“Over the years, an effort has been made to facilitate students for this competition with great success. Now the scope of that informal guidance is being widened and systematised with this initiative,” Dr. Yasir informed the audience.

Mr. Aaean Siddiqui, an IIISR faculty, introduced 10 units of NET-JRF syllabus, arguing that it’s actually a test of apt-attitude for which students need to prepare accordingly.

Mr. Haseebur Rahman, another IIISR faculty, focused on comprehension and communication units and cleared some basic concepts.

Mr. Tahseen Siddiqui, yet another IIISR faculty, dealt with mathematical reasoning and data interpretation and laid emphasis upon making Maths a friend and not a foe. He seasoned his talk with some cool math tricks that made the whole talk fun.

Dr. Yasir concluded the session, describing the schedule of the classes and thanking the students and faculties.

The students also interacted with the faculties.
