IndiGo’s Hyderabad-Madinah Tri-Weekly Flight from Feb 20

Hyderabad: Low-cost airline IndiGo will launch a new direct flight between Hyderabad and Madinah from February 20.

The new route is aimed at providing convenient travel options for pilgrims undertaking Hajj and Umrah, as well as other travellers, the airline said.

The tri-weekly service will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from Hyderabad, with return flights scheduled on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from Madinah. According to the flight schedule, Flight 6E 0057 will depart from Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) at 7.35 p.m, arriving in Madinah’s Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport at 11.45 p.m. The return flight, 6E 0058, will leave Madinah at 12.45 a.m and land in Hyderabad at 8.10 a.m.

“The launch of the Hyderabad-Madinah route is more than just expanding our network; it opens a vital gateway for religious and cultural exchange. By commencing direct flights to Madinah, a major Islamic pilgrimage site, we aim to simplify travel within the region and beyond. With the launch of this flight, IndiGo will now operate over 100 weekly flights to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from India,” said Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales, IndiGo.

This new route marks IndiGo’s 38th international and 128th overall destination. Currently, IndiGo operates more than 190 daily departures from Hyderabad, linking 65 domestic and 15 international destinations.
