Industrial Training Programme Begins at AMU University Polytechnic

Aligarh: A one-week hands-on Industrial Training Programme on “Mastercam” began on Tuesday at the Mechanical Engineering Section of the University Polytechnic, Aligarh Muslim University with Prof Mohd Mohsin Khan, Finance Officer, AMU as the chief guest.

In his address, Prof Khan highlighted the significance of Mastercam software in advancing manufacturing technologies for their academic and industrial applications.

The guests of honour, Prof. Mohammad Muzammil, Principal, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET) and Prof. Aasim Zafar, OSD Development, underscored the importance of computer-aided manufacturing.

Earlier, Prof. Arshad Umar, Principal, University Polytechnic, welcomed the guests.

The Incharge, Mechanical Engineering Section and the Programme Convener, Dr. Mohd Asif Hasan elaborated on the details of the programme and read out the message of Prof. S.K. Sinha from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT BHU, a globally renowned expert in the field of CNC machines and CAM software.

Mr. Arjit Gupta, Application Engineer at Mastercam served as the resource person for the training, bringing his expertise and insights into CAM software.

Dr. Abdul Faheem conducted the programme while Dr. Md. Israr Equbal extended a vote of thanks.
